Hire Emmie was born during the COVID-19 pandemic. While helping businesses move online, we saw many Nigerian women, especially mothers and caregivers lose jobs or step away from careers to care for their families. We began training and supervising them on digital projects, proving they had the skills but lacked access to flexible, dignified work.
From that experience grew Techy Train Incubator, which trained over 10,000 women across Africa in practical digital skills. But training wasn’t enough; employers wanted accountability, and women needed fair pay and protection. That’s why we created Hire Emmie: a platform that connects vetted women talents to global businesses, manages contracts and payments, and ensures trust on both sides. We exist to turn skills into real jobs, creating income, confidence, and dignity for women, starting in Nigeria and scaling across Africa.
